Vikings Eliminated from the playoffs again.

The Vikings have been eliminated from the playoffs at a (7-9) record after an embarrassing 37-10 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

The Vikings have now missed the playoffs in back-to-back seasons for the first time in the Mike Zimmer-led Era. By the time it got to the Sunday Night Vikings game, there was not much hope due to an Eagles and Saints win, but it was not impossible.

It is truly upsetting how the Vikings manage to let us down year after year and it seems as if the team is ready for a fresh start and new culture. Even the Zimmer cycle of every other season playoff appearance has come to an end after a streak since 2014.

The Mike Zimmer Era is likely over after this coming Sunday's home game against the Chicago Bears. Hopefully, the Vikings can find themselves with a win and fans can give the standing ovation Mike Zimmer deserves on his way out of the stadium for the last time as the Vikings coach.

It was definitely a season to remember with all the misfortune varying from injuries to heartbreaking time expiring losses. Now the questions of Mike Zimmer and Kirk Cousins's futures shall be decided sooner than most fans would have liked.

I'm now wondering whether Vikings fans would rather tank the final game for a draft pick or win so Mike Zimmer can leave on a positive note for his final game at US Bank Stadium as the Minnesota Vikings Head Coach.
