With the Vikings going into the offseason one of their main focuses will be addressing the interior offensive line, specifically the right guard and center positions.
The Vikings current offensive line left to right looks to be:
Darrisaw - Ezra - Bradbury/Cole - Davis/Udoh - O'Neill
It is safe to say that the Vikings will need to look into finding a replacement at center and potentially right guard if Wyatt Davis does not pan out or step up this offseason.
Free Agent Offensive Lineman:
WSH OG Brandon Scherff - 30 years old
73.6 PFF Grade | 697 snaps | 0 sacks allowed
Market Value: 12.9M AVG. Annual Salary
Brandon Scherff having a connection to Kevin O'Connell in Washington could be a good sign for a fanbase who every season prays that Scherff comes to Minnesota in free agency. Scherff would be a pricey signing, but undoubtedly a huge upgrade for the guard position.
LAR C Brian Allen - 26 years old
80.2 PFF Grade | 903 snaps | 5 sacks allowed
Market Value: 5.4M AVG. Annual Salary
Brian Allen is another guy with a connection to Kevin O'Connell where they won a super bowl together this past season. Allen would be a much more affordable signing and a solid pickup for a team that has a decision whether to pick up Garrett Bradbury's 5th-year option or not this offseason.
SF OG Laken Tomlinson - 30 years old
75.9 PFF Grade | 1,094 snaps | 2 sacks allowed
Market Value: 9.0M AVG. Annual Salary
Laken Tomlinson has had an interesting career thus far, he was drafted 28th overall in 2015 to Detroit before heading to San Francisco after just two seasons. Tomlinson did not become a true top starting OG until late in his career and now is expected to make a pretty penny this offseason. The Vikings have been rumored to be linked to the 49ers' starting offensive lineman through their new General Manager, Kwesi Adofo-Mensah from his prior experience working for San Francisco.
